Kwara Gov. Describes Turkish Nationals Abduction Unfortunate

AbdulRazaq has called for calm following the unfortunate abduction of some Turkish nationals in Edu Local Government Area of the State.
This was contained in a statement by his press secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, a copy made available to WESTERNPOST on Sunday.
The Governor said he was working closely with security agencies to ensure their prompt rescue.
“The Governor is working closely with the security agencies to ensure prompt rescue of the expatriates,” he said.
He urged the people to go about their normal and lawful businesses and not to entertain any fear, as doing so may embolden the criminals behind the development.
However, Kwara Police  authority has confirmed the kidnapped incident.
The State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ajayi Okasanmi disclosed that the foreigners were abducted at a bar joint in Gbale village on Saturday night.
He  identified foreigners abducted to be Seyit Keklik 25years, Yasin Colak 33 years, Ervin Yardakul 35Years and Senerapal 40 years.
