Speaker, Kwara State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ali Ahmad, has commiserated with the state First Lady, Deaconess Omolewa Ahmed, over her mother’s demise, Mrs. Janet Monilola.

In a condolence message issued by his Media Aide, Shuaib Abdulkadir, Ahmad said without doubt, Monilola’s death would create a big vacuum that would be difficult to fill not only by her immediate family but the society at large.

Describing the deceased as a down-to-earth personality, the Speaker stressed that her positive contributions to her immediate environment would never be forgotten.

Ahmad further described her as a pious Christian and very religious, admonishing the deceased children to take solace in the fact that she died a fulfilled person.

‎The Speaker, however, prayed God for the repose of the deceased, to grant her eternal rest and give the family the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

He also condoled the State Governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, praying that God would continue to be with the First Family in the state.
