The Kwara State Signage and Advertisement Agency (KWASAA) has commenced its Post-election billboards removal in accordance with the Agency guidelines across the state.
The guidelines which asked politicians to remove their billboards and flexs ten (10) days after the elections so as to bring back a beautiful society.
The agency moved around Ilorin metropolis recently to know the level of political parties compliance and as well removed those left on the streets.
Speaking on the exercise, the General Manager of the Agency Alhaji Ahmed Olufadi said the operation is necessary as the law empowers them to remove any political campaign boards or political flexs 10days after the elections.
Olufadi called on all concerned stakeholders to always complying with the agency in a bid to have state of our dream most expecially in the area of signage and billboards erections any where in the state.
He said the agency did not have luxury of space to accommodate all the billboards adding that some would pay fine for non compliance.
