Sanwoolu made this known at a media interactive session held at WaterCress Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos.

The APC Governorship aspirant stated that he would make the whole state his constituency, stressing further that he would run a participatory government whereby the people would be listened to.

He added “My name is Jide Sanwo-Olu, I am 53years old.

“As a PROPER Lagosian, I believe we can make our Lagos a better place where we can improve the lives of our people. Our Government will be a Government that LISTENS, LISTENS and LISTENS,” said Sanwoolu.

He stressed, “I will communicate properly when we will do a formal declaration, where my people will receive me officially.”

While speaking on whether he may step down if he is pressed to do so by the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, he stated, “Saying Asiwaju Tinubu will call me to back down will not happen, he is a Democrat, he wants democracy to work, he is our Leader, he is the National Leader, he believes in democracy.”

He continued, “This man, Asiwaju, is a true bred democrat, he wants democracy to work, he would allow this primaries to go on peacefully through direct primaries.”

Sanwoolu assured, “I will run an inclusive Government, we will ensure that we have a participatory Government, we will always listen to our people.”

He added, “I will not be a Governor of Lagos Island or a Governor of Lagos Central, Lagos East, I will be a Governor for all.. The whole State will be my Constituency.”

Sanwoolu assured that his administration would be an administration that listen more and talk less, adding further that he would run an open-door policy.

He, however, disclosed that his official declaration will be held on Sunday 16th September, at Police College Compound, Ikeja, by 12pm.
