Lagos state House of Assembly has summoned the Executive Chairman of Alimosho local government, Hon. Jelili Sulaimon and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Organising Secretary in the state, Alhaji Abdullahi Enilolobo over official corruption, conversion of public funds, Award of contracts against due process, and unlawful contracts manipulation.
Other allegations levelled against the council chairman and the APC Chieftain are; false accusation, abuse of office, criminal conspiracy, assualt, and threat to life.
In the summon letter signed by Mr A.T.O Ottun on behalf of the Acting Clerk of the House and sighted by WESTERN POST, the House asked them to appear before the Committee On Public Accounts (Local) on Wednesday (Today) by 11am.
The letter reads ” I am directed to draw your attention to a petition forwarded to the House by Legalmetrics Attorneys dated 16th November, 2020 on the above subject (Copy Attached) and to invite you to a meeting with the Committee On Public Accounts (Local) on Wednesday, 2nd December, 2020 at the Conference Room, 5th Floor, Members’ Wing, Assembly Complex, Alausa, Ikeja by 11:00am”.
It reads further ” You are kindly requested to come along with Alhaji Abdullahi Enilolobo, other key functionaries of the local government and document(s) (if any) in order to have fruitful deliberation on the matter”.
