Governor Babajide Sanwo-olu on Sunday directed financial institutions and shopping malls to give priority to the elderly in the society in the morning session between 9am to 10:30am, as he reeled out measures the State Government would take to ease the Lockdown in the Lagos.
Sanwo-olu who said this during a press briefing at Marina noting that ,there would be a register-Start for all entertainment sector including restaurants, event centers to enable them rearrange their spaces to accommodate the new directives on physical distancing.
According to Sanwo-olu, Restaurant with ten space capacity should be rearrange to accommodate only six persons.
He noted that the exercise would be supervised by relevant Agencies in the State to prepare them for future openings.
The Governor reminded Lagos residents during the press briefing that earlier directives issued on market opening, wearing of mask and other recommended measures still stand, while more specific guidelines on localised isolation and treatment of Covid-19 at primary healthcare centres would be unveiled in the following weeks
He announced that presently 29 Nigerians evacuated from Ghana have been quarantined in Badagry area of the State on a 14-day isolation programme as recommended by the NCDC.
