Lagos Judicial Panel Of Inquiry Adjourns Sitting Till Nov 14

    By Okunade Adekunle

The Lagos judicial panel of inquiry on restitution for victims of SARS and Lekki shooting has adjourned its sitting till November 14 due to lack of quorum.

The Chairperson of the panel, Justice Mrs. Doris Okuwobi ( rtd), who made this known on Saturday in Lekki-Lagos, said the sitting could not hold due to the absence of the two youth representatives (Olorunrinu Oduola and Temitope Majekodunmi).

Okuwobi explained that with the absence of the two youths, the panel could not form quorum to hear victims of police brutality.

It was learnt that one of the youth’s representatives ( Olorunrinu Oduala) bank account was frozen by the Central Bank Of Nigeria (CBN) and that this could not make the representatives to come.

    More details later…..
