Lagos Lawmaker Reels Out Scorecard, Reassures Constituents of More Benefits

The legislator representing Mushin Constituency 2, at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. AbdulSobur Olayiwola Olawale, has reassured his constituents of more benefits and better representation if re-elected into the Assembly in 2019, saying that the interest of his constituency is better protected as their representative.

Olawale, who is fondly called “Omititi” by his suppoerters, made this known while reeling out his achievements in the last 3years , at a press conference held at the Assembly Complex, Ikeja, Lagos.

The Lawmaker explained that his annual ‘Omititi ICT programme’ had graduated over 1000 students since inception to date, stressing further that many youths had continued to benefit from his annual free GCE and coaching programmes.

He added that sixty school uniforms were donated to 30 senior secondary schools and another for 30 junior secondary schools, stressing that the ‘Omititi Makeup/Gele’ training empowerment programme had been a huge success as over 100 had benefitted from it.

Olawale stated, “Medium and Small Scale loans facilities has been facilitated for many of our traders in Mushin 11. Charity and Donations during yulatides have never failed . Cash and Material gifts and donations to the needy and institutions has been a daily activities to give my people a humble lift.

“I have facilitated notable employment opportunities to my constituency from Lastma, Teaching service, Neighborhood Watch, Medical Doctor, Nurses, among others. I have facilitated a number of notable road construction projects and street repairs that are absolutely verifiable. Government intervention projects have also been facilitated which includes construction, equipping and upgrading of general hospital, health centres, schools, drilling of boreholes and Idi-araba housing scheme.”

In the area of constituency representation, Olayiwola stated that he facilitated the release of over 200 constituency residents who were wrongly arrested by the Nigerian police , adding further that he intervened in the reopening of Alamutu market to ensure that market men and women continue to do their business without disturbance.

He added, “The list of the road construction and street repairs I facilitated are; Aborishade, Lawanson, Obagun, Mushin to Daleko Road, Obafemi Awolowo Market front and Palm avenue road. I dig 3 boreholes, presented Bus to Motherless Homes. I also regularly support widows in my constituency financially and funded ‘Kick Malaria’ out of Mushin health programme in collaboration with Rotary International of Agege.”
