Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area in Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria, Hon Francis Babatunde Oke, is dead.
He died Wednesday morning of kidney-related ailment.
A source close to family, however, revealed that his death had no link to COVID-19 as reported in some medium.
When his health condition became critical, he was moved to Vedic Life Care Hospital, Lekki where he died early Wednesday morning.
His death has thrown the whole Onigbongbon LCDA and the APC family in Lagos into mourning.
Only a few weeks ago, the Chairman, Information, Strategy and Security Committee of the House of Assembly, Hon. Tunde Braimoh from Kosofe LCDA, had died.
His own demise followed that of the Senator representing Lagos East, Senator Bayo Osinowo, aka Pepperito.
