Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has said the state government has earmarked N200million as compensation for families of victims of protesters of the EndSars Campaign. The governor made this known while addressing protesters on Tuesday morning at Alausa Ikeja.
Sanwo-Olu further promised to convey the request of the protesters to President Muhammadu Buhari some of which are increment in police salary as well as justice for those killed by the police during the protest.
The governor had on Monday addressed some of the protesters at the Lekki Tollgate where he expressed solidarity with them.
Following the protest, President Buhari had disbanded SARS and promised to initiate urgent reforms in the police force.
