A lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North state constituency, Honourable Olawunmi Oladeji has commissioned two water projects in Abepe, Osupa ward and Flavours Area, Saja/Isale-Ora ward to the tune of N5million.
Honourable Olawunmi Oladeji who was accompanied by her political leader and mentor, Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, a former Governor in Oyo state and a leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the state said the project became necessary in view of the sustainable development goals and post Covid 19 palliative for people in her constituency.
Also, she empowered over 1,000 entrepreneurs, farmers and artisants with cash to boost their businesses as part of post-Covid-19 palliative for the people.
Honourable Oladeji said that the businesses of the people have been seriously affected by Covid-19 pandemic, hence the measures to help boost heir business.
“I decided to support the people with close to N10million to boost their businesses, the pandemic affected the people’ businesses and almost collapsed their source of livelihood, some of them who are traders have had challenges of coping, so we decided to help them with cash support”
“This is our own way of giving back to the people for their support during the last election. I have good plans for the people, it will excite them and make them have more confidence in our party the All progressive congress”.
“I thank my leaders, former governor Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala, Senator Brimo Yusuff, Engr. Dayo Lawal, party leaders and supporters for joining me to commission the projects”.
She noted that education palliative is on the way as well as more projects to be executed for the good people of Ogbomoso North state constituency.
Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala while speaking to the people of Abepe, Osupa ward and Flavours Area, Saja/Isale-Ora ward noted that the project Commissioning is a way of giving back to the people and ensuring that the people benefit from good governance that Honourable Olawunmi Oladeji is bringing to the doorstep of the people.
He noted that Honourable Oladeji is an outstanding representative of the people, assuring the people that she would return to do more for the people.
“Honourable Oladeji has a good heart and I am confident that she would continue to reach out to all of you in fulfillment of her campaign promises”, he said.
It would be recalled that Honourable Oladeji in April gave food palliative to residents of Ogbomoso North state constituency as succour to cushion the effect of coronavirus ravaging the world.
