Looting: Scores Arrested in Osun

No fewer than eight persons have been arrested in connection with the looting at the Leventist Foundation, Ilesa, Osun State.

Residents of the town had cried out to government to do the needful before the situation gets out of hand when the poultry firm was attacked this morning.

The suspects, arrested by youths of the town were five Okada riders, one student and two artisans.

Some of the things recovered from them are: chicken, foods, electronics, fertilizers and other valuables.

The youths have handed the suspects to the police.

Similarly, some thieves that stole and destroy Sen. Adelere Oriolowo farm have been apprehended.

As at the time of filling this report, when contacted on phone, the State Police Public Relations Officer, Yemisi Opalola could not confirm the number of hoodlums arrested so far.
