A staff of Tuns Farm in Osogbo, Osun State, Abdul-Rasheed Olawale, who was shot during the hoodlums’ attack on the farm on Saturday has been confirmed dead.

The General Manager of the farm, Taofeek Badmus, said, “The deceased who was his Personal Assistant was attacked due to what we suspect that he could identify most of the looters and their instigators.”

He described Olawale as a young, vibrant, dedicated, and intelligent member of his team.

It would be recalled that the hoodlums broke into the facilities at about 8am Saturday 24th October, 2020 in search of palliatives and COVID-19 relief materials.

The Chairman, TUNS Holdings, Asiwaju Tunde Badmus who is also the Vice Chairman, Osun State Food and Relief Committee said the attack was beyond looting and ENDSARS Protests but a pure conspiracy.

He said they have written formally to the Police to report the murder and armed robbery that took place at the company.

He put the loss at the company to over  N100 million.

The chairman of Tuns stessed that no Government palliatives or COVID-19 relief materials were stored at TUNS facilities as all damages, looting and vandalism were properties of Tuns International Holdings.
