The Chairman House Committee on Employment, Labour, Productivity and Pension in Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Mabaje Razak has called for more cooperation among members of the 9th Assembly to improve and strengthen legislative agenda of the Assembly.
Hon Mabaje said it is imperative that lawmakers of the Assembly cooperate and work together in order to strengthen their collective businesses, activities and as true representatives of the people.
The lawmaker who represents Ido constituency commended the leadership of the 9th Assembly for its visionary leadership since the inauguration of the Assembly a year ago, just as he appealed to members to continue to work hand in glove to contribute meaningfully to the progress of the state.
He said despite the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging economic activities in nations all over the world, they have continued to work hard to reach out to people especially their constituent members.
“It is so unfortunate that the coronavirus has really affected economic activities including ours in the state. I have embarked on very laudable programmes for my people but the pandemic has not helped matters.”
Hon. Mabaje while soliciting the cooperation of members of his constituency for him assured them of more impacts that will have meaningful contributions to their lives.
He, therefore, called for more support and cooperation from the people of Ido constituency to enable governor Seyi Makinde to deliver dividends of Democracy to people of the state.
