Mammoth Crowd as Adelabu, Makinde Cast Votes in Ibadan

The two major contenders in Oyo State Gubernatorial election, Chief Adebayo Adelabu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Engineer Seyi Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have both cast their votes at 11:45am and 09:15am in Ibadan, the State capital with mammoth crowd and members of their parties cheering them at their polling centres respectively.

Chief Adelabu who arrived his ward 9 unit 10 in Adelabu penkelemisi compound at 11:25 am in the company of his wife and Hon. Deji Aboderin was claded in a blue Agbada regalia with blue cap.

He was received by huge crowd and member of his party amid pomp with high ovation.
PDP candidate, Engineer Makinde cast his vote at Ward 11, Unit 1 Iwo  road area at 09:15 am  as the  crowd and members of his party  cheered him.
Speaking with journalist after casting his vote, chief Adelabu thank people of the state for coming out end mass to support him with their votes.
He expressed satisfaction on the conduct of the election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) just as he commended the police and other security agencies for  the levelbof security put in place.
Makinde in his words: I commend the people of the state for their support, I thank you for coming out to exercise your right.
There has not been reports of crisis as at the time of filing this report.
