A former Ondo House Of Assemblymember who represented Akure south Constituency 1, Hon Kemisola Adesanya has joined other notable Nigerians to celebrate this year’s workers’ day.
Adesanya, in a press statement made available to newsmen in Akure,the Ondo state capital on Saturday, said that Nigerian workers deserved to be celebrated and encouraged.
According to her, “I join other well-meaning Nigerians to celebrate and rejoice with our workers in the state and across the country for their selfless service so far in keeping the country going.
“It is necessary to state unequivocally that the workers need to be celebrated over their contributions towards nation-building.”
Adesanya, therefore urged the government to make the welfare of workers a priority.
“Government should endeavor to make the welfare of workers a priority and encourage them the more through good and better welfare packages,” she said.
The ex legislator, therefore, concluded that the insecurity and youths unemployment really call for concern, the President Muhammadu Buhari should do the needful in the area of security to give hope to the citizens.
