Mrs Ajimobi enjoins Oyo Residents to Embrace Peace

In the spirit of the season, wife of the Oyo State Governor, Mrs Florence Ajimobi has enjoined residents of the state to embrace peace and shun violent acts to further move the pace setter state forward.

Mrs Ajimobi made the call on Thursday at the Catholic Hospital, Oluyoro during her visit to the Oyo State Baby of the Year at the St. Anne’s lying inward of the hospital.

According to her, the most important asset anyone should desire now is peace as this was the only way the state could further enjoy increase and development.

“It is important for us at this period to continually seek peace in everything we do. It is only in an atmosphere that is peaceful that we can achieve our dreams and make things work well,” she stated.

The New Year baby, a girl, weighing 3.3kg was delivered early on Thursday morning at 12.20 am by Mrs Calista Igwe.

Mrs Ajimobi gave gifts to the baby and prayed for her while she urged the parents to take proper care of her in order for her to attain her God given potentials.

She also visited and gave gifts to eleven other babies that were delivered between December 30 and 31, 2014 as well as all children that were on admission in the hospital.
