” No man or woman is more qualified than Hilary to contest for the US presidency, not me, not Bill (Clinton). I’m sorry Bill (Clinton) but that’s the truth,” Obama said.

It was arguably the best speech President Obama has made thus far. Many believe the speech was more profound than his 2004 speech which signalled his break into the American centre stage.

Obama said Hilary is well prepared for the office of presidency and that he was convinced Americans are in safe hands with the former Secretary of State Hilary Clinton.

“I’m more optimistic about the future of America than ever before,” he added.

Obama said Hilary is competent, courageous, disciplined and tough, adding that she would be a good Commander-in-Chief.

He spoke of her contributions to his presidency when she served ad the Secretary of States for four years.

Obama said the choice between Hilary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump is the choice hope and despair, good future and lack of it.

Turning to Clinton’s running mate Tim Kaine, Obama said he knows him well and that he would help to make Hilary a better president, “just like Joe (Biden) has made me a better president”.

Also, entrepreneur Michael Bloomberg who said he is an independent called for support for Clinton, saying the Democratic candidate listens to advice and knows that running fojoer American presidency “is reality not reality TV”.
