The coronation ceremony of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Dr.) Lekan Balogun Aliiwo 11 will hold on March 11, 2022.
A letter signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Secretariat, Ibadan, Mr. B.A Olarenwaju indicated that Governor Seyi Makinde has approved the installation of High Chief Lekan Balogun as the 42nd Olubadan on 11th March, 2022.
It would be recalled that Governor Makinde approved the appointment of High Chief Lekan Balogun as the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, on February.14, 2022
The step became imperative following the demise of Oba Soliu Adetunji on Sunday 2nd January this year.
