*Pledges loyalty to Mimiko

Following the impeachment of former deputy governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Ali Olanusi, the House has rectified the name sent to it by the Governor of the state as new deputy governor.
. He is Alhaji Lasisi Olugbenga Oluboyo, who was Commissioner for Agriculture until his recent appointment.
He has been sworn-in as the new deputy governor of the state.
Speaking while accepting the appointment at the Cocoa Conference hall of the Governor’s office, Alhaji Oluboyo thanked the governor and the people of Ondo State.
He pledged his allegiance to the governor and promised to run an open-door policy like his boss, Governor Mimiko.
