The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Vice Chairman South West, Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja has encouraged all citizens to keep hope alive and pray for divine intervention on current happenings in the country.
Arapaja in a statement by his Special Assistant on news media and publicity, Bamitale Ibrahim made available to newsmen in Ibadan, said members of the PDP in the Southwest are happy to identify and share the goodwill messages to Nigerians on the occasion of the country’s Independence
While encouraging the people to keep hope alive, and also pray for divine intervention on current happenings in the country, Arapaja said the vision of the founding fathers was to have a unified country free from tribalism, egotism or fanaticism.
“We must continue to contribute our part to the development of this nation with an adequate premium on national development. With this alone, we can sustain the vision of our founding fathers.
“We can not overemphasize the need to work and pray, in order to have a nation of our dream. A nation devoid of insecurity, unemployment, and financial recklessness.
“Our decision in PDP is to continue to work round the clock for the development and progress of this nation in all ramifications,” he said.
