As the country continues to grapple with the lingering economic recession, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has urged Nigerians to continue to pray for their leaders.
Speaking in Ibadan on Sunday at the 2016 Holy Ghost Convention of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries, which coincided with the Founder of the church, Bishop Francis Wale Oke’s 60th birthday celebration, Osinbajo said politicians, especially those at the helms of affairs, needed prayer for the right direction and purposeful leadership.
The vice president further appealed to spiritual leaders in the land to pray and offer good counsel to politicians for good governance and effective leadership.
In his message, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, enjoined Nigerians to believe that God answers prayer no matter the situation they find themselves.
The event was attended by well meaning Nigerians Including government functionaries and traditional rulers.
