A report has revealed that Nigerian super eagles are the seventh most valued in the Europe’s ‘Big Five’ leagues.
In Germany, England, Spain, France and Italy Nigerian players collect an average wage of £1.9m per player according to the new research to be published in the 2015 edition of Sporting intelligence’s global sports salaries survey points to the financial rewards .
Belgian footballers are the most valued according to reports, earning higher salaries on average than those of any other nationality within Europe’s ‘Big Five’ leagues.
The average wage of Belgians across European’s ‘Big Five’ leagues as been calculated at £2.2million per player per year, or £41,700 per week.

Players from Montenegro and Australia are valued next, earning an average £2.2.
English players are fourth with an average earning of £2.1m a year (£40,400 per week) while Dutch players (£2m a year on average) are fifth.
Welsh players come sixth with a calculated average earning £2m while players from Northern Ireland, Japan and Brazil make up the top 10.
