NURTW, Other Related Unions Passes a Vote of Confidence on Gov. Bello

All Transport Related Unions operating in Kogi State comprises six unions have commended Governor Yahaya Bello over the massive of construction of roads across the state noting that these road construction have reduced the high cost of their vehicles maintenance and reduction of accident across the state.

They have unanimously resolved to pass a vote of confidence on the administration of Kogi State Governor.

The Liaison officer of All Transport Related Unions in Kogi State, Comrade Gimba Ibrahim made this known yesterday during a press briefing in Lokoja.

According to him, the unions pass a vote of confidence on the governor because of the security strategy he put in place to fight crime in the past few months, as the rate of kidnapping and armed robbery have drastically reduced in the state.

“There will be no meaningful development anywhere in the world where there is no security,” He noted.

Comrade Ibrahim noted that Kogi State government under governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello, the menace of kidnapping and armed robbery have reduced with the kidnappers who find Kogi State as their heaven before the inception of this  administration now relocated.

The Union also commended the governor for the bold step taking in establishing and commissioning of Nigeria Military Base in Okene, saying the presence of Military Base in Central senatorial district will definitely curb criminality and terrorism in the state.

Comrade Ibrahim also assured the governor and the people of the state that they are ready to partner with all the security agencies in the state by exposing bad eggs who were using their names to perpetrate evil acts.
