The report of the autopsy conducted on the remains of the late Timothy Adegoke, a Master’s student of Obafemi Awolowo University, (OAU), Ile-Ife, whose death generated controversy is ready.
The autopsy was conducted on Monday, November 22 at Osun State University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo by a team of Pathologists.
It was gathered that the pathologists have prepared the result of the autopsy though the content was yet to be released.
The copy of the report was said to have been submitted on Wednesday to Osun State Police Command headquarters in Osogbo and the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja.
But as at the time of filing this report, effort to get police confirmation proved abortive as the investigation on the matter had been transferred to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
The family of the deceased had alleged that Adegoke was killed at the Hilton Hotel and Resort, Ile-Ife where he lodged upon his arrival from Abuja for his examination.
His corpse was found in the bush after he was declared missing by the family before it was later revealed that workers of the hotel masterminded the throwing away of the late student’s body, allegedly supervised by the son of the owner of the hotel, Raheem Adedoyin.
