The Obong Iberedem Akwa Ibom in Oyo State, His Royal Majesty, Edidem Etim Bassey Akanyak has described the demise of late commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources in the state, Hon. Kehinde Ayoola as a great loss to the state, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) family, and the nation as a whole.
The monarch said this while commiserating with governor Seyi Makinde and the people of the state over the sudden death of the late versatile commissioner.
Hon. Ayoola died on Thursday Morning after a brief illness in Ibadan the state capital.
Obong Akanyak in a statement said he received the news of the demise of Ayoola as rude Shock, describing the development as very devastating.
He said the late commissioner would be greatly missed by his great roles and impact in the development of the state.
“I received the news of the saddened occurrence as rude shock, I was totally downcast and devastated.
Late Ayoola alongside Dr Olatunde Oladoyinbo came to my palace in 2019 during the campaign of Governor Makinde to receive royal blessings for the governor.
” He will be greatly missed by his immense contributions and positive impact in the development of the state. I pray God Almighty to give the governor, his family, and the people of the state the fortitude to bear the loss.
