Ogun Commissioner for Housing Loses 79-years-old Dad

The Commissioner for Housing, Chief Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi, has lost his father, Alhaji Mudashir Omoniyi.

He died in the early hours of Sunday July 5, 2020 at Joga-Orile in Yewa North Local Government of Ogun State.

The Media Officer to Hon. Omoniyi, Mr. Olumide Abiodun, announced the demise of Alhaji Mudashir Omoniyi, which occurred in his country home, Joga-Orile.

He said: “With total submission to the will of Almighty Allah, the most merciful, the most beneficent, we announce the passing on to eternity of our father, Alhaji Mudashir Omoniyi, the patriarch of the Omoniyis of Joga-Orile and father of the Honourable Commissioner for Housing in Ogun State, Jagunmolu Akande Omoniyi FCA.”

Pa Mudashiru Akande Omoniyi was a politician of repute when he was alive. Baba was a former member of the National Republican Convention (NRC), Alliance For Democracy (AD), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), African Democratic Congress ADC and now All Progressives Congress (APC). He was also a high chief in Joga-Orile.

The remains of the late Omoniyi were buried same Sunday by 4 pm at Omoniyi Compound, in Joga-Orile, Yewa North Local Government, Areas of Ogun State in accordance to Islamic rites.
