Ogun CP Commends Paramount Ruler of Yewaland

The Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Abdul-Majid Ali, has commended Oba Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle, President Yewa Traditional Council of Oba and Oba of Ilaro, for maintaining peace among his people in Yewaland.

The CP gave the charge in Ilaro during his official visit to Ilaro Police Area Command where he received royal blessing for Yewa Traditional Council of Oba.

CP Ali explained that in 2012 before the emergence of Oba Olugbenle, Yewaland was being terrorised by some notorious gangs and cultists in some higher institutions in Yewaland.

Also on the issue of cattle herdsmen and farmers, the CP commended the royal father for demonstrating professionalism to end the crisis.

While urging the people of Yewa to continue keeping up the spirit  of unity, he pledged that the police would also continue to provide security in the area 

Speaking Oba Olugbenle appreciated the CP and his entourage for the visit.

He said the people of Ogun West Senatorial District thanked the CP for his professionalism and competence that he injected into the police in Ogun State.
