Ogun SSG Nibs in The Bud Crisis Among Monarchs

A seeming misunderstanding among members of the Progressive Obas Forum was yesterday nibbed in the bud by the Ogun State Secretary to the Government, Barrister Taiwo AdeOluwa.
At an emergency meeting of the Ogun Central Progressive Obas Forum held at the Obas Complex, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta. Barrister Taiwo Adeoluwa warned the Obas not to allow pettiness and mistrust to destroy the goodwill that has accrued to their corporate image.
The senior government official expressed the government’s confidence in the Obas for their efforts to leverage on the inherent success of Governor Amosun’s administration in the socioeconomic development of the state.
He said “How do you think people, particularly, opponents of the government would not want to disrupt your good ideals. That’s why you should not allow leakage in your united body” the SSG opined.
He said the Governor and progressive people of the state are happy with the Obas for their creativity and initiative to involve synergy for the sustainability of good governance beyond 2019, adding that Governor Amosun had vowed to complete all on going developmental projects going on in the state without forsaking the traditional rulers in the state.
Special commendation was accorded the chairman of the Ogun Central senatorial Obas Forum, Oba Abdulfatai Akorede Akamo, Olu of Itori for his zeal and enterprise.
He was further charged to continue to absorb the heat of leadership by being responsive and accountable in order to win the confidence and respect of the members.
All the Obas present at the meeting in unison expressed gratitude to both the Secretary to the Government, Barrister Taiwo AdeOluwa and the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Hide Ojuko, for dousing tension amongst the Obas resulting from misperception of the ideals of the Forum.
