Ogundele Became Ogun PDP Chairman

The Former Chairman Ifo Local Government, Hon. Sikirulahi O. Ogundele has been officially announced as new Chairman of Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The announcement was made by Dr Eddy Olafeso, the Chairman Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) South/West and PDP Electoral Chairman in Ogun State during the 2017 Party Congress held at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library, Abeokuta, Ogun state.

The delegates from all  twenty Local Government and thirty five Local Council Development Area LCDA where in attendants to perform their civic right towards the development our party.

Dr Eddy Olafeso commending all the party leaders in the state for their perseverance and dedication to ensure PDP bounced back and take over leadership in Ogun state and Nigeria.

Eddy said the Journey that took us to this place was so rough but today we are writing history in Ogun State PDP.

While appreciates all the elders that make the Congress possible. Also commending the INEC, DSS, Police, NSCDC and PDP National to ensure that the election was free and fair.

He urged all faithful and loyal party members not to relent in preforming their leadership roles in there various constituency.

Saying that he was enthusiasm for what he saw in Abeokuta today, that shows a d prove that peoples are still ready to work for the party.

Also in his congratulatory messages Hon Sikirulahi Ogundele thanked all the delegate for voting him to stire  the affairs of the party in  the state.

Ogundele said Ogun State Peoples Democratic Party PDP is a new born baby and very soon we will begin to witnesses new things in the state.

“As far as am concern there is no fraction in Ogun state PDP”.

Also Immediately after this Congress we will begin to consult all the aggrieved party members and bring them back to PDP.

Ogundele promised to be listening leader, transparency and operates open door policy with all members.

The members of  Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are Charls Onaji, Bola Adewon and Chisty  O Aibage and PDP National Electoral Commission lead by Dr Eddy Olafeso, as chairman, Mrs Florence Adeyemi as secretary, Hon Ayonati Bakare, Hon Oyebode Ojomo,  Hon Adedokun Adeola as members respectively.

The names of the candidates for the state executive committee include Hon Sikirulahi Ogundele, chairman, chief Ibukun Ojosipe as deputy chairman, Alhaji Ismaila Odejimi Vice chairman central, Arc Kayode Adebayo Vice chairman East, Hon Wale Adeogun vice chairman west, Hon Tolu Bode Bankole as Secretary, Elder Sunday  Solanke assistant secretary, Rev abiodun Adebayo assistant secretary East, Hon Mrs Irede Ogini Assistant secretary west.

Also Lolu Adenuga as treasurer, Alhaji Sikiru Ayilara as Assistant treasurer, Elder Adeogun Oloyede  as financial secretary, Asiwaju Dapo Onasanya as assistant financial secretary, Malik Ibitoye as publicity Secretary,  chief Kehinde Agba assistant public ity secretary, Barr. Tunde Adesanya as legal adviser, Barr. Korede Oduntan assistant legal adviser, Dr Mrs Folasade Fulani as women Leader, Alhaji Maamud Alabi as youth leader,  Alhaji Taofeek Osundara as Auditor and Ex- officio respectively.
