Olatoye Pledges Prompt Dividends of Democracy to Constituents

The People of Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency have been assured of prompt delivery of dividends of democracy capable of affecting their lives positively in the present administration.

The assurance was given on by a member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Temitope Olatoye while distributing forty-three appointment letters to people in his constituency as part of his promises to them.

The programme, held at Ejioku in Lagelu Local Government area on Wednesday, had in attendance APC chieftains in the local government, traditional rulers as well as former and current lawmakers in the state House of Assembly, who converged to witness the unprecedented event.

The House of Reps member, who expressed gratitude to God for the success of the programme, said the occasion was necessary as a way of touching lives of his people positively and appreciating their support during his election to the Green Chamber.

Hon. Olatoye further added that the development was also in line with his electioneering promises before the election.

He said since he became a member of the House of Reps, he has facilitated many developmental projects to his constituency which ranged from provision of borehole facilities and provision of other social amenities, just as he called on his people to support him further in his quest to deliver to them.

According to him, he has been rendering services to people of his community in these areas of human development before contesting for the Reps position.

Speaking at the event with journalists, a member of the state House of Assembly, Hon. Lafi Akinmoyede described the gesture of Hon. Olatoye as a welcome development, urging the people of his constituency to support him for more democratic dividends.

Also speaking with newsmen, another member of the state House of Assembly, Hon. Olusegun Olaleye commended Olatoye for living up to expectations and fulfilling his promises to the people, describing the gesture as the beauty of democracy.
