A total of 60 pupils from different public secondary schools in Kishi in Irepo local government area of Oyo state have benefitted from the educational support initiative Honourable Kazeem Olayanju Orelooe, a member of the Oyo state house of Assembly representing Irepo/Olorunsogo constituency.
Hon Olayanju said he presented them with free jamb forms in line with his promises during his campaign.
The educational support initiative which came up under the Qozeem Orelope Foundation was aimed at encouraging and assisting more students of the constituency to further their education In line with the intention of governor Seyi Makinde’s administration to provide free and qualitative education for all.
After the presentation of the free jamb forms held at Kishi CBT centre, the beneficiaries who were indigent students of Irepo/Olorunsogo state constituency were also duly registered on the portal of the Joint Admission Matriculation Board for the forthcoming examination.
The beneficiaries and their family members who could not hide their joy for the opportunity availed them to acquire more academic qualifications for a brighter future, described the gesture by Hon Qozeem Olayanju as a move to advance the development of Irepo/Olorunsogo state constituency.
One of them Rasak Zainab who spoke with Journalists thanked the lawmaker for the gesture, just as she described him as a peace-loving, kindhearted man who believes in capacity building as well as the wellbeing of his constituent members.
While speaking with newsmen, the founder, Qozeem Oreloope Foundation, Honourable Kazeem Olayanju said arrangement are being made to train youths in vocational skills to complement their academic pursuit, noting that no country can experience rapid development without capacity building.
He assured his people that plans are on to extend same gestures to others who have not benefitted from the scheme.
Hon. Olayanju promised his unrelenting efforts at ensuring that people of his constituency continue to enjoy dividends of democracy under the present administration of Governor Seyi Makinde through quality representation in the statehouse of Assembly.
