Olota of Ota Tasks on Communal Unity – Hon. Adeniji

The Olota of Ota, Oba (Prof.) Abdulkabir Obalanlege has been called upon to use his position to promote peaceful co-existence among the Awori and other residents in his domain to engender more development to Ota and its environs.

The Chairman, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Area, Hon. Oladele Adeniji who made the call at Oju-Ita Fiesta, held at St. Michael Practising School, Ota, said no community could develop in an atmosphere of chaos, hence the need for all residents, irrespective of tribe, religion or political affiliations to live in harmony.

He said government, both at the State and Local levels are not relenting at ensuring that more of dividends of democracy get to the nooks and crannies, urging the people to continue to support the Senator Ibikunle Amosun led administration in moving the State to a more enviable position among comity of States in the federation.

Responding, Oba Abdulkabir assured of his readiness at fostering unity among his people, thus ensure further development to the area, calling on all sons and daughters of Ota and other residents, to join hands in creating a conducive environment that would attract investors to the area.

He commended Governor Amosun, for his doggedness at ensuring all round development in the State.
