OGUN: Olu of Imashai Joins His Ancestors at 74-years-old

His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Olusola Gbadebo Oni, Olu of Imashai, has joined his ancestors after 26 years on the throne. He was 74-year-old.

Oba Gbadebo Oni was acting Paramount Ruler of Ilaro for four years after the demise of Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewa Land, late Oba Adekanbi Tella, Agbenuaranwoye III.

He was also Secretary, Yewa Traditional Council of Obas till he joined his ancestors.

WESTERN POST gathered that the late Yewa monarch died in the early hours of Thursday morning in Imashai at the age of 74 after a brief illness.

During his lifetime, the late Oba Gbadebo Oni was a peace-loving monarch in Yewa North Local Government, Yewa land, and Ogun State as a whole.

He is survived by wives, children’s and grandchildren.
