The People’s Democratic Party(APC) in Ondo State has suffered another big blow, as two Special Assistants to Governor Olusegun Mimiko on Political and Mobilization Matters resigned from office to join the All Progressives Congress(APC) in the state.

In a statement made available to journalists in Akure, on Tuesday, by the APC Publicity Secretary in the state, Omo’ba Abayomi Adesanya, claimed the two aides of Governor Mimiko had joined APC.

He said: “The Deputy Governorship Candidate of our party, Hon. Agboola Ajayi, receives two prominent leaders of PDP, Hon.(Mrs) Aderonke Oladun, Special Assistant to Governor Mimiko on Political Matters, and Barrister Ojo Victor, Special Assistant to the Governor on Mobilization at the Akeredolu Campaign Office as bonafide members of APC family.”

The APC Publicity Secretary said the party had assured the two new members of equal opportunities. He urged them to work assiduously for APC/Akeredolu’s victory in the forthcoming November 26th, 2016, governorship election in the state.
