The Ondo State Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi has narrowly escaped being disqualified from participating in the forthcoming primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state has Justice Bode Adegbengbe on Tuesday struck out a motion filed against him.
The motion by Justice Bode Adegbengbe lacked merit.
A member of the PDP, Constante Olopele had in the suit filed by Akpofiwei Anthony Macleans of AMAC Solicitors, asked the State High Court sitting in Akure to disqualify the Deputy Governor on frivolous grounds.
This has however open ground and added more feathers to the camp of the Deputy Governor in clinching the party ticket as its flag bearer come October 2020.
