The Chairman of African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ondo State, Bisi Ogungbemi has been kidnapped by unknown armed men.
Ogungbemi was kidnapped with four other chieftains of the party in the state along Oba Akoko and Owo road on their way from Ikare-Akoko to Akure, on Wednesday evening.
It was authoritatively gathered by WESTERNPOST that, the incident occurred around seven o’clock while coming from a political meeting of the Northern Senatorial District of the state.
Those kidnapped alongside Ogungbemi were his special assistant, Mr Jide Ipinsagba and his driver and another chieftain, princess Abdulkareem.
It was gathered that the vehicles of the victims were seen on the road side while information of their whereabouts is still sketchy as at the time of filling the reports.
The bad condition of the road has been a major problem to the motorists, which has become an easy way of kidnapping whosoever along the road both in the day time and at night.
