Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Engr Ade Adetimehin, says the State Working Committee is committed to building a virile chapter.
Adetimehin dropped the hint in Ifon, headquarters of Ose Local Government area, when he lead all members of the SWC to rub minds with party chieftains in the area.
In a statement issued on Friday and made available to western post by the publicity secretary of the party in the state, Alex Kalejaye, read that the party Chairman said that one of the surest ways to achieve the laudable dream is to shun, and discourage indiscipline in the party.
“Our resolve is to build a strong APC in Ondo State. To ensure this, we are fully aware that we must shun indiscipline in whatever form”, the State Chairman said.
He told the chieftains that the benefits and importance of being in government consistently could not be over-emphasised.
He encouraged party members to sustain commitment to, and faith with the party, saying that the gains would eventually not elude them.
Speaking at the gathering, a member of the House of Representatives, Timehin Adelegbe, commended the APC-led government in the State for projects and appointments in Ose, but insisted that the area deserves more political patronage.
Other leaders at the meeting included the Commissioner for Sports, Barr. Akindotun Owanikin; a former commissioner for Information, Mrs. Tola Awo; Barr. Adelanke Odogiyon; Senior Special Assistant on Diaspora, Vincente Yeyemokin, among others.
