Youths in their hundreds from Arimogija and Ijagba communities in Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State on Thursday protested alleged incessant attacks by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
The protest, organised by the youths was taken to the local government secretariat where they registered their displeasure over the continued invasion of their communities by herders, who have created tension in the areas, most especially among farmers.
They claimed that no fewer than six persons have been killed n the last three months.
They said efforts made by the state government have not yielded the desired result.
For several hours, they blocked the entrance to the secretariat, demanding to see the council boss.
Efforts were made by security personnel to bring the situation under control.
