A business tycoon and Managing Director, Klick Konnect international, Chief Alex Ajipe, has said Ondo State people will gain tremendously in voting Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu for a second term in office, considering his outstanding performance in the last three years.
Ajipe, an Emure ilé born-successful businessman, made this known during an interactive season with online media practitioners in Ondo State.
He said the governor intended to change the state to an industrial hub of the nation.
He said the cassava to ethanol being produced at the Linyin industrial hub in Ore is second to none compared to what would be coming out of the place, disclosing that the ethanol has been fully booked for the year.
Ajipe said that the hub would not only generate no fewer than 20,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities, but will reduce poverty in our society mostly in Ondo State and the country at large.
According to him: “As I speak with you now, the first phase of the hub is already producing different types of threads and they’ve gone past that stage by producing lace materials and it will soon start to produce Ankara fabrics and that 80 per cent of the workers there are females.”
He said further that: “The industrial hub, which is called Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub, came into being by signing of MOU between Linyi City in Shangai Province of China and Ondo State Government”.
He, however, concluded that the re-election of Governor Akeredolu would bring fortunes and ensure continuity of various developmental projects across the length and breath of the state.
