The former gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the just concluded primaries in Ondo state, Chief Olusola Oke has called on party faithful to work for the victory of the party in the forthcoming October 2020 election.
The assertion was made on Wednesday at the international culture and event centre DOME in Akure, the Ondo State Capital during the inauguration of the Aketi’s Campaign committees.
However, the members were picked across party board from all 18 local governments including the supporters of the aggrieved contestants who have decided to come together for the progress and victory of the party.
Meanwhile, the party Chairman in the state, Engr Ade Adetimehin had earlier advised that the aggrieved members to bury their hatchets and forgive anyone within the rank and file for victory to be assured.
In his response, the governor of the state, Rotimi Akeredolu, thanked everyone for their supports and gestures so far and promised that no one would be left behind.
He, therefore, urged everyone to be one indivisible and hold the party firmly so as to be victorious at the end of the day.
Oke later said everything possible will be done humanly to win the election once again and make the state proud.
