Ondo: Results Trickle in From Polling Stations

Some results have begun to emerge from some polling stations across Ondo State after the governorship poll.

APC candidate Oluwarotimi Akeredolu led in his ward in Owo and generally took the lead in the town just like PDP candidate Eyitayo Jegede aslo performed well in Akure where he hails from.

Though he complained that the card readers malfunctioned in some parts of Akure the capital.

Olusola Oke, the AD candidate was generally leading in Okitipupa and in soem parts of Ilaje/Ese-Odo.

In the various centres visited by WESTERNPOST, the election was generally peaceful and calm.

At lpele, in Owo Local Government Area of the state, at Unit 12,  Ward 7, the exercise was smooth.

Speaking with WESTERNPOST, Hon. Nuel Elehinle, said the situation was generally calm.

At Unit 6, Ward 5, where the governorship candidate of APC, Mr. Akeredolu, voted at exactly 10:30 am, the people were seen on the queue casting their votes.
