Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu has again reaffirmed his readiness to work for the people of the state and provide maximum security.
He said this during the swearing-in of his new Chief of Staff, Chief Olugbenga Ale bearly 24hours the state House of Assembly endorsed his lists.
According to him, ” Ondo state will soon create state police which will again push for diligence and hard work. Only those that are ready for genuine service will be appointed.”
In his speech, the governor congratulated the newly sworn-in Chief of Staff for his steadfastness and commitment to the service of the state.
The Governor said further that, Chief Ale is a trustworthy person.
According to him, he said it has been the grace of God all the way and that only those who would not constitute a burden are to be appointed.
“All I need now is less distractions as the four years is short,” he said.
The Governor said further that, his administration does not want to waste time in doing the will of the people.
He said diligence and decency will be rewarded in this new administration.
He advised the new appointee to be focused and never to have deviated from the service to humanity
While responding, the new Chief Of Staff, appreciated the governor for the opportunity of appointing him for the second time.
Chief Ale, a former Permanent Secretary and served in the first term of Governor Akeredolu and re-appointed as Chief of Staff.
