Orisadeyi Resumes Office, Charges Staff Members on Cooperation

By Richard Thomas, Ibadan

The newly appointed Commmsioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters in Oyo State, Hon Olufumilayo Orisadeyi has called for the  cooperation of staff and  members of  the ministry  in order to advance and move forward the  progress wheel of the ministry.

Hon Orisadeyi was addressing staff of the ministry on Friday during her official resumption to office.

The commissioner in her speech said  the ministry can only achieve success when the staff and members cooperate and allow peace and unity to guide their work and activities.

Said she,”I have not come to bring down but to build up and contribute meaningfully to the ministry and your lives. I therefore charge you to be up and doing and to also cooperate with one another in order to advance the course of the  ministry.”

The commissioner who was a former lawmaker in the 6th House of  Assembly was among the 14 commissioners that were appointed and sworn in by the state governor, Engr Seyi Makinde on Thursday at the Executive Council Chambers, office of the governor.

Hon Orisadeyi who was apparently excited at her resumption into office  charged staff of the ministry to discharge their duty with fear of God, honesty and high sense of responsibility.

She however  urged them to pray for peace, progress  and   the smooth running of the Engr. Seyi Makinde led administration, assuring  that this government has come to put smiles on the faces of the people of the state.

Also in her company was her husband, Pastor Orisadeyi and other well wishers who came to pray for her successful resumption and tenure of office of the commissioner.
