Following the Court of Appeal’s order which lifted the suspension on him, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, eventually returned to the party’ Secretariat in Wuse 2, Abuja on Tuesday.
He was warmly received by members of the party’s National Working Committee, other party leaders and staff of the secretariat who milled around him.
Oshiomhole later went into a meeting of the party’s National Working Committee already arranged for Tuesday.
The Court of Appeal sitting in Lagos had granted a stay of execution of the judgment of the FCT High Court, Jabi which suspended Oshiomhole from parading himself as APC chairman.
The court said the status quo would have been affected if the party’s NEC meeting initially slated for today was held without Oshiomhole.
It then adjourned proceedings till Friday, March 20, 2020.
However, the outcome of the NWC meeting yet to be known at the time of filing this report.
