Special Adviser to Osun State Governor on Public Health, Dr. Olasiji Olamiju has vowed to reclaim the federal constituency from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) come July 16 governorship election.
Speaking with newsmen at the Strategic Engagement tour of Governor Gboyega Oyetola, held at Ijesa North Federal Constituency, Olamiju said time has come for the people to take their destiny into their hands by re-electing Oyetola for second term.
The public health expert charged the people of the constituency to stand up for change ahead of the 2023 general election.
“Ijesa North Federal Constituency as of today is the stronghold of the PDP because members representing the constituency in the state and national assemblies are of the PDP but we are not resting on our oars.
“They (PDP) took the federal constituency away from us and we’re taking it back. We’re united and uniting every fragmented part of the party. We’re coming together as a strong family to making sure we chase away the opposition.
“We’re all committed, ready and mending the fences and cracks within the party to making sure we come out stronger to deliver for APC and by extension Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s second term ambition,” he said.
