Three persons were severely injured in a multiple accident along Osogbo-Sekona Expressway, Osun State on Monday.
The accident, which involved two cars and one motorcycle occurred at the NOVEMBER 27 Interchange after Ataoja Secondary School, Osogbo around 4:56pm.
According to the Public Relations Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Osun Sector Command, Mrs. Agnes Ogungbemi in a statement issued on Monday night, the accident was caused by overspeeding and dangerous driving.
The vehicles involved are; Toyota Corolla (ash) with registration number MUS 571 GB, Vento Volkswagen (green) with registration number LEM 478 TK and Bajaj Boxer (red) Reg: SGB 633 QJ.
She said the injured victims were conveyed to Lautech Hospital, Osogbo while the vehicles involved were towed to Ataoja Divisional Police Station, Osogbo.
