The Osun State Police Command on Wednesday disclosed that it has rescued the second person in the kidnappers’ den.
It would be recalled that unknown gunmen abducted travellers along Omoh/Erin-Ijesha road, in Ori-Ade Local Government Area of the State on Sunday night.
A police source told journalists that the gunmen kidnapped two persons- man, woman, and took them to a nearby bush around Ori-Oke Omoh while others were left at the scene.
On Monday, the police said it rescued a man through the combined team of security operatives in the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Mrs Yemisi Opalola confirmed that the other kidnapped victim has been rescued by the joint operations of Police officers, Hunters, Amotekun and Vigilante.
She said that, the Commissioner of Police, Wale Olokode has vowed to ensure the safety of the residents of the State as well as get rid of criminals.
