Otegbeye Denies N500m APC Bribery Allegation

A governorship candidate on the platform of Action Alliance in Oyo State in 2015, Hon. Taiwo Ibiyemi Otegbeye ,has denied a N500 million bribery allegation against him to drop a law suit he instituted against the state Governor Abiola Ajimobi in 2011.
Otegbeye said although there were many attempts to bribe him with several millions of Naira but he turned them down due to his spiritual belief.
The AA candidate, in an exclusive interview with WESTERN POST in Ibadan at the weekend, maintained that both APC and PDP emissaries offered him money but he voluntary dropped the charges on the ground of instruction from God that there would be bloodshed in Oyo State if he pursued the case.
The logo of AA was omitted by INEC in the 2011 governorship election in Oyo State.
Otegbeye who was unanimously endorsed in Ibadan at the weekend by AA Oyo State chapter said he did not regret not collecting the bribe.
