Owing to his exemplary leadership style, the Chairman, Parliamentary Caucus of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Segun Ajanaku has commended the Executive Chairman of Ibadan West Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Aleshinloye, Hon. Yomi Adefusi for his diligence, punctuality, efficiency, prompt action, versatility and utmost cooperation with the parliament.
Hon. Ajanaku made the commendation at the council secretariat while on a visit on the account of stewardship of all local governments and local council development areas in the state.
Similarly, the parliamentary caucus chairman also appreciated the management team for their supports, while urging the chairman to push for enabling working environment for the councilors by providing them with befitting offices, legislative bus, their immediate inauguration and better salary.
In another observation, a lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency II, Hon. Segun Olaleye, fondly called ‘Radical brother’ called for a better synergy between the LCDA and the parliament, with the aim of having a better transformation and for grassroots development.
Earlier while welcoming the team to the council secretariat, Hon Adefusi eulogized the team for their doggedness and impartiality in their dealings. He also appreciated the Assembly for their supports and cooperation with Governor Abiola Ajimobi which had been the testimony of all infrastructural developments within the state.
The council boss also stressed that he has been putting all means together to ensure more developmental projects within the council area.
It would be recalled that two blocks of four classrooms each were commissioned recently at St. Michael Primary School, Apata and Abiola Jacobs Prymary School, Foko respectively, constructed by Hon. Adefusi’s administration within his 100 days in office as the pioneer executive chairman of the newly created LCDA.
